Cancellation Policy

At Medavas, we recognize that plans can change unexpectedly. Our aim is to offer a fair and clear cancellation policy that balances the needs of our clients with the schedules of our counsellors. Please review our cancellation policy to understand the terms related to appointment cancellations, rescheduling, and our paid listing services for psychologists.

Appointment Cancellations

  1. Advance Notice:
    • Clients must cancel their appointments at least 24 hours in advance to avoid any charges.
    • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment will incur a fee equal to 50% of the session cost.
  2. No-Show Policy:
    • Clients who fail to show up for their appointment without prior notice will be charged the full session fee.

Rescheduling Appointments

  1. Advance Rescheduling:
    • Clients can reschedule their appointments without any penalty if done at least 24 hours in advance.
    • Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the appointment will incur a rescheduling fee of 25% of the session cost.
  2. Frequent Rescheduling:
    • Clients who reschedule more than three times in a month may face additional fees or restrictions on future bookings.

Emergency Cancellations

  1. Emergency Situations:
    • In case of emergencies, clients should contact us as soon as possible. We will review each case individually and may waive cancellation or rescheduling fees at our discretion.

Refund Policy

  1. Eligibility for Refunds:
    • Clients are entitled to a full refund if they cancel their appointment at least 24 hours in advance.
    • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment will be subject to the applicable cancellation fee.
    • The refund team at Medavas will make the final decision on all refund requests.
  2. Refund Processing:
    • Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days and will be credited to the original payment method.

Psychologist Paid Listing Policy

Medavas offers two types of paid listings for psychologists:

  1. Basic Listing:
    • The Basic Listing is free for the first year, allowing psychologists to be listed at no cost during this period.
  2. Professional Listing:
    • The Professional Listing is a paid plan offering additional features and benefits. Payment for this plan is required in advance.

Listing Cancellation and Refunds

  1. Cancellation and Refunds:
    • Psychologists can cancel their Professional Listing subscription at any time by contacting us via email at info@medavas.com.
    • Cancellations made within 14 days of the subscription start date qualify for a full refund.
    • Cancellations made after the initial 14 days are not eligible for a refund, though the listing will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
    • The refund team at Medavas will make the final decision on all refund requests.
  2. Listing Termination:
    • Medavas reserves the right to terminate a psychologist’s listing for any violations of our terms or actions that could harm our clients or reputation, without providing a refund.
  3. Renewal and Billing:
    • Subscription plans renew by contacting us via email at info@medavas.com. Psychologists will receive advance notice of the renewal and any changes in fees at least 30 days prior.
  4. Subscription Changes:
    • Psychologists may upgrade or downgrade their subscription plans at any time, with changes taking effect at the start of the next billing cycle.

Policy Modifications

Medavas reserves the right to amend or update this cancellation policy at any time. Significant changes will be communicated to clients and psychologists via email or website announcements.
